YOUTH HAVEN, INC. AWARDED GRANT FROM THE NAPLES WOMAN’S CLUB

Naples, Fl (December 21, 2021).

Youth Haven, Inc. is grateful to receive a $9,500 grant from the Naples Woman’s Club. The funds will help support local abused & neglected children and teens that depend on Youth Haven for Home, Hope, and Healing.

Youth Haven, located in Naples, is Southwest Florida’s only residential shelter for children and teens removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. With beds for up to 70 youth, Youth Haven accepts new residents 365 days a year, 24-hours a day. Established in 1972 and in continuous operation for nearly 50 years, Youth Haven provides programs that create transformational change in our youth.

The funding we received from the Naples Woman’s Club will assist various ways, including:

  • The purchase of laptops/Chromebooks to help with homework and communication
  • Clothing and toiletries as many youths arrive at our 15.5-acre campus with just the clothes on their back
  • Food/snacks as we accept children and teens 365 days a year, seven days a week, 24 hours a day, making the need for food a high demand

“Youth Haven is grateful for the Naples Woman’s Club investment in Youth Haven,” said Linda Goldfield, Youth Haven Executive Director. “The funds we received will allow us to continue to provide life-changing programs to the children and teens that rely on Youth Haven.”
