Youth Haven, Inc. is pleased to announce its partnership with the Florida West F.C..
Youth Haven has collaborated with Florida West F.C. (FWFC) to bring soccer clinics biweekly to Youth Haven’s 18.5-acre therapeutic campus. FWFC has generously underwritten this programing along with their coach’s time. The partnership provides specialized soccer clinics to the boys and girls ages 10 – 19 that call Youth Haven home. The children and teens that arrive to Youth Haven have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect or homelessness. This program allows them to learn and play soccer, regardless of their skill, providing them opportunities that they may not otherwise have access to.
Javier Pachecho, Esq., FWFC Staff Coach, has taken the lead on this exciting initiative. Regarding the clinics, he shared, “The kids have shown tremendous enthusiasm for the game and are having a blast. It has been an extremely rewarding experience so far to work with them. We look forward to seeing them each session and continuing the program.”
“We are excited to bring this new partnership with Florida West F.C. to Youth Haven,” said Linda Goldfield, Youth Haven’s Executive Director. “This clinic is a fantastic and fun opportunity for all of our youth, regardless of their skill levels. Our partnership with Florida West F.C. is so important, as it allows us to provide better outcomes for the children and teens who call Youth Haven home.”
