YOUTH HAVEN, INC. AWARDED GRANT FROM THE COMMUNITY TRUST FUND OF THE LEAGUE CLUB

Naples, Fl (April 28, 2024). Youth Haven, Inc., located in Naples, Florida, is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a $16,977 grant from the Community Trust Fund of the League Club. This generous grant will significantly support Youth Haven’s Security, bolstering the safety of its 18.5-acre therapeutic campus. By establishing a sense of security, the children and teens are regaining control over their lives and developing the resilience needed to overcome past trauma.

Youth Haven is Southwest Florida’s only emergency and residential shelter for boys and girls aged 10 to 20 who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, or homelessness. The organization provides critical support through innovative therapies and therapeutic environments designed to aid in the healing journey of these young individuals.

The League Club has selected and awarded grants to 35 area nonprofit organizations totaling $683,000. Over 37 years, The League Club has provided $7.3 million in grants to 217 nonprofit organizations in Collier and Lee counties supporting children, families, the elderly and veterans. Funding for these grants come from the TLC’s Community Trust Fund. These funds are raised from The League Club’s Annual Fundraiser, NAPLES TABLES® held every spring in Naples, Florida, and from the generosity of The League Club members and donors in the community.

Linda Goldfield, Chief Executive Officer of Youth Haven, expressed her gratitude for the grant, stating, “We’re grateful for the generous support from the Community Trust Fund of the League Club. With their support, Youth Haven can continue to meet and exceed our children and teens’ needs.”
